i have beggged for Briles to be our OC for about half a decade now.
Of course Kiffin already had him at FAU and learned anlot and incorporated into his own system, so i’m hyped
but this is a good move for SCar.

Great hire, IMO Kiffin has worked with Briles and Weiss Jr and apparently he prefers Weiss over Briles because he could have had either for the OC position

I wouldn't say I've begged for him, but being a Baylor/LSU guy love what he & his dad did at Baylor and think he (they) would have crushed here.
I despise TCU and love what Briles did at Baylor so getting Kendal to LSU would/could have been huge to me.

That’s why I called it a hail marry. Beamer is on the hot seat and taking a chance at a name that isn’t hot anymore. 50/50 it works but they’ll be better than 105th.
