Movement at Penn State

Just as a bit of a lark I sent my resume to ad@psu.edu with a cover letter that more or less said, "I may not have any football experience past sixth grade, but I can at least be counted on to come to work most days," and now I have an interview for their HC position at 2:00pm CST. Wish me luck!

My two main demands are going to be:
1. As much guaranteed money as possible. Judging by the current state of college football coach hiring this shouldn't be too big a deal.
2. I am going to wear Alabama gear on the sideline. This one might be a bit of a sticking point but honestly I feel like I have all the leverage in the negotiations.

He definitely seems like my major competition. But I think I can overcome that. If I'm asked how I feel like my experience compares to other candidates, I'll just say, "Oh, you mean like Matt Campbell? How many losses does he have as a head coach?" And then they'll say, "70," and then I'll sit back in my chair, steeple my fingers, and say, "Wow, 70, huh? Wow. That's 70 more than me."

I coached D-line on my son’s 11-12 year old team. All of the parents thought I was a cool guy. Would go a long way with recruiting….just saying

You'll need to apply through swamp74 as he is the current leader in clubhouse to be my DC (Nick Saban won't take my calls for some reason), and I am a master delegator. Ooooh, let me make a note to bring that up in my interview.
