If I had to guess, I’d say she likely just doesn’t want it to become a focal point of the team and saw an opportunity to end it reasonably
The announcers did mention the players were very aware of the streak

They had only 1 point in first three plus minutes and none in almost last 3. Scored 92 in about 34 minutes.

Because the game was over and you win with class & respect your opponent. No one cares about a meaningless record of scoring 100 pts in consecutive games except drunk fans on TD.

Could have kept it going where its an unbreakable streak. Championships are not given no matter how good your team is.

Respect for Lawson, and to me it's kinda a flex in that you can clearly score 100, but you run clock to just secure the win
