Baker is an idiot. Being a DC at LSU with Kiffin is the closest he will ever get to winning a Natty.

Not at all advocating to fleet him up to DC for us, but I'm curious to know if Corey is happy being a lifetime position coach. Nothing wrong with that, but I wonder if he ever starts to reach to coordinate. I'm happy with him staying where he is and propping up DBU.

exactly... that signaled loud and clear, at least to me, that Raymond is going to be back in some capacity... likely just waiting to see who DC is to see if it's an on field role or not...
but with Finney signing, i'd pretty say it's a guarantee that he's back next year

I agree with you. Some people find it hard to delay those decisions of being "called up". I think he would command a better place right away if he waits AND we win a NC. I guess the opposite opinion could be true, go now and get more experience and do the stepping stone. No one will know until after 10 years from now.

No way Raymond follows Baker to Tulane. Also if the CB from Cali committed I'd think Raymond is staying.

I’m not afraid of that. I am however nervous that Kiffin overthinks it and misses a chance to keep the best DB coach in the country.
