I believe in keeping the commandments and unless someone is posing an immediate threat to life you have no legitimate reason in the eyes of God to kill them.
Additionally, I'm not dumb enough to believe this has anything to do with drugs considering the bulk of fent is made in Mexico by the drug cartels and traditionally the intelligence agencies have been the main means of distribution.
But as far border defense and such goes, I am in favor of stopping them before they reach our shores, which is something we have done for decades. Why not monitor the entire coast to also prevent things like human trafficking and such as well?
Of course this is just about regional control and trying to force Venezuela to regime change.

The word immediate has an actual meaning.
Furthermore, you're ignoring the entire cause for such things and the fact that the majority of fent is made in Mexican labs by the Mexican cartels.
While also pretending we can't just seize these boats and protect our borders in general from all threats.
