Been looking at some from Walker’s and Axil and they all seem to have mixed reviews. Anyone here have a pair that are worth a damn?

I have the Axil's. They work great for shooting. I have not used specifically for hearing enhancement. Music, so so.

I have the axils and like them. I use for shooting, hunting, mowing grass and exercising. Had caldwells and they sucked.

How’s the ambient noise quality? Is it similar to electronic ear muffs?

Axil gs 2.0 are awesome. The wireless ear buds suck.

Both Wild Ears and ESP have been around a long time and are reputable. I have friends with ESP and I have Wild Ears both are made from molds of your inner ear and work well for anything from sitting in a deer stand to a duck blind to a range. I use them all the time and have had mine for about 10 years now still going strong.

I have two sets of Walker over the ear muffs. They work well. One pair is bluetooth and the music quality isn't the greatest, but I don't really listen to too much music with them.

I've had ESPs for 15+ years. They're pricey but work great. Amplify sound & shutdown on the shot. Great customer service also.

I can vouch for the Otto Noize Barriers with the Comply Foam tips

Come in a rechargeable case. They had to replace a pair for me and it was pretty seamless

Next time I do this it’ll be a LOT more money with a pair from an audiologist

X2. Going on 4 years with mine. Obviously not cheap either. Use them for duck/deer hunting. I have this fear of dropping one in the water duck hunting so I religiously keep them attached to the lanyard thing.
