Or, maybe he doesn't have the sway that he thought he did. The stuff about Frank is coming from pretty reliable sources, and several of them are saying the same thing. At this point, it's more likely to be true.

I think it's possible he may have told them to wait and sign, but I don't think it was done selfishly. Could all be a misunderstanding. You know how people around here are.

Ahhhhh.... There goes Frank's role. This all points to one thing. Frank is being shown the door. Man I wish Frank stayed. He is viewed as a family guy and all these young recruits in the NOLA area come to LSU for him if I am not mistaken.
