"they didn't want Lane Kiffin to coach them through the playoffs but they'll take the OC who is coming to LSU.... whats the difference?"

"So is LSU gonna pay white bonus or Ole Miss?"

"You better win. They love you today and they'll fire you tomorrow"

Coach Kim is gold lol

Yeha if our OC ends up getting them a natty they need to pay the bonus to Lane.

I still dont get why we are loaning him? They'll still probably try to hit us up for Lanes buyout so WTF we doing? Just big brother donkey stamping them?

It's a win/win for LSU.

If OM wins the whole damn thing, we get to forever troll Ole Miss by reminding them that they did it with an LSU loaner coach.

If OM loses out, we get to troll them by reminding them that they did so with an LSU coach who was sabotaging it and they fell for it.

I think LSU fans have fun with this in the long run.

I have a feeling that the LSU AD will be very patient with Coach Kiffin.

Lane just trying to slow the hate from Oxford a little bit, and letting his OC go coach in a big game without him. He likes Golding and Golding was in a tough spot.

I think Ole Miss put Lanes back against the wall. If he refused to loan them a coach their marketing department would be having a field day pushing the "He doesn't care for his players narrative". Can't imagine Lane nor LSU wanted MORE of that narrative floating around every network for another week or two

In no world is OM winning the NC a win!

Yup!

Where we're going, it's not gonna matter if Ole Miss wins the whole damn thing.

Because LSU has been patient with past football coaches and because I believe that Coach Kiffin will always be working hard, because that's what his Dad, Coach Nick Saban and Coach Pete Carrol would advise him to do.

Anyone who believes that Ole Miss' advancement in the playoff this season will cause anything but damage to LSU is absolutely delusional.

Does anyone think OM will make it out of first round?

Lane wants them to win. Lane has millions in bonus money at stake if Ole Miss wins.

Can we admit that it's largely about which school is going to pay more for the particular player?

It's a different world now - it's professional football now.
