I guess he never paid "sanctioning fees" whatever those are. Not too familiar with this.

Bud Crawford, the Max Kellerman of boxing.

Boxing is so dumb woth how its managed. Go out win a title and then you have to fork over 3% of what you make

Was just aboiut to post this.
The people over boxing are just idiots and continue to show they really seem to want their sport to fail.

There are a lot of dumb takes around here, this might be one of the worst I've heard.

I think there’s a video in a thread on page 1 of Max on a podcast talking about Steven A.
The topic is him and SAS splitting up and his reasoning, being serious as he could be, was that he was too good for anyone to battle him and they just couldn’t deal with his prowess.
He compared himself to Bud Crawford saying who would ever want to battle me? And was dead arse serious.
I don’t really know who Bud Crawford is and I’m not even entirely sure that’s what Max was saying
Then I immediately saw this thread

I like how the WBC thinks they tell us who the best fighter in the world is
Posted on 12/3/25 at 1:32 pm to ReauxlTide222
got it
Bud Crawford is possibly the best P4P fighter of his generation so depending on how one sees Max Kellerman..
ETA: I can't emphasis enough just how bad Crawford dismantled Errol Spence Jr. in 2023, who came into the fight at 28-0, Crawford was 39-0 going in, and became undisputed champion for the first time in something like 15 years

Fortunately for Bud his name and legacy is now bigger than the belts. Everyone knows he's the baddest dude on the planet and doesn't need the belt to show it. I assume he still has the ring magazine belt which is really the best one to have at this point in boxing.
I think Bud was the underdog too. At least on TD he was. Not a ton f guys on here up to date with boxing but the ones who are are pretty knowledgeable. I remember the thread at the time and most everyone thought Errol was going to put on a show. Ended up being complete opposite, Bud put on a freaking masterclass.

oh we were watching it at a house and I couldn't believe the number of people who thought Spence was going to handle him, Bud is the kinda guy "'fight anywhere anytime" and looking at Spence's record he's had 3 fights since 2020, definitely was ducking and trying to protect his belts.

Probably for ducking the GOAT Jake Paul

Anyone who follows boxing knows who Terrence "Bud" Crawford is.
His dismantling of Errol Spence and his dominance of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, after jumping up two weight classes no less, in his last fight just added more cement to his legacy as one of the greatest fighters ever, not just this day and age.
As for Max Kellerman, I can take him in small doses. He's been full of himself for decades and thinks he's one of the great boxing pundits of all time.

I’m teetering on the edge.
Working off about 2 hours of sleep. Been in Denver for work since Sunday. Went to the Avs game last night and my ride to the airport this morning departed at 4am.
Been frozen for a few days now and fighting a cold most likely. Multiple delays today weren’t great either.
I’m freakin’ loopy as hell today.
