Until a DC is hired or Baker is retained nothing will happen from a position coach side on defense.

Kiffin knows Raymond is too important to let go. Different from Frank, Raymond is an elite coach AND recruiter.

I will say this, people obsess way too much over some of these lower coaching positions

True, but Corey is different. You have the data point to show how much the DB room fell off when he left and how much it changed when he came back. He's one of the best DB coaches available, so.... you can't really loop him in with your standard position coaches.

LSU has him if they want him. The DC position has to be settled first though.

Im not one to say what coaches a new head coach should keep but Raymond is a no brainer. Come on Lane. Don't do a Kelly.
