If tweet fails to load, click here. This sums it up. He is showing that the "poor and downtrodden" are just morons. He interviews people on welfare with Disney season passes, Louis Vuitton bags, and dozens of Doordash orders and calls them out on it.
Some of the comments:
"I can barely afford rent!" Proceeds to show spending hundreds of dollars a week on Doordash along with dozens of subscriptions to various streaming services.
So this guy Caleb talks to broke people on his show?
And he points out all the insane ways they've gotten themselves into unnecessary debt?
Yes.
And people are mad at Caleb for this??

I watch clips of him here and there and I always get my blood pressure up due to his moronic guests
The idea that bad decision making is now a mainstream political issue is nuts. And that goes across all parts of it: affordability, happiness, abortion, etc.
But then again, these people believe in "Governmental Santa Claus" and that's hard to fight against.

The craziest thing he exposes are the amount of veterans that are on disability. It’s like automatic upon leaving the military, even with nothing wrong. He had this one girl on that never even finished boot camp. Yet she was getting a fat check from the government for the rest of her life.

Until we rid ourselves of “social safety nets” we guarantee failure. When people know somebody will pay their way, they don’t care about failure.
Remove the government safety net and it changes instantly.

I'm not justifying anyone's bad decisions, but seriously—what do we expect in a world where social media algorithms shove consumerism down our throats around the clock?

The problem with this show the past year or so is that all the guests now are in on the joke and come from his audience. It's become almost a parody or satire of legitimately examining finances of people like this. The really sad part is that he knows it, but hasn't been able to redirect in any profitable way so he keeps coming back to the Jerry Springer style show. I imagine at some point the money won't be enough and he's going to get frustrated and quit

It's not influential if people don't change their behaviors, and they won't.
He should interview a travel ball hardo; post that episode and watch the melt on the OT.

Caleb has also started exposing the scam of VA benefits for perfectly healthy people

I've noticed that everyone I know that worked in the military draws a substantial disability check.
The question is: Who doesn't get a disability check for working in the military? I'm guessing only the ones who don't apply for it.

I expect people to figure out that everyone with a product is trying really hard to sell it to you.
The problem is not the sellers it's the idiot buyers.

He had a guest on the show who was receiving $4,000 a month in disability benefits while actively competing as a bodybuilder. He’d never served in a combat zone, and when asked, “How are you getting $4,000 a month in disability while bodybuilding?” he just laughed and said, “PTSD and stuff.”
It’s turned into a racket, much like SNAP—enlist, then collect a disability check for life.
The sad part is that people gaming the system don’t seem to care at all about the veterans who genuinely need support.

you saw that when SNAP might possibly have stopped for 2 weeks.
i don't want anybody to die,not get medical care, or starve. I want schools to operate.
But I'd like a REAL government shutdown for 1 month where nobody gets any money at all and we see what pigs squill the loudest are and investigate.
DOGE was a great dream, but a pipe one.
