If Baker takes Tulane job would this be possible? I think he is really done well in Detroit and would be huge for LSU.

This. The amount of posters that genuinely believed he would have a shot to be the next HC was asinine.
He's doing great, but doesn't even have a full year under has belt as an NFL coordinator.

I would have to think, with Shep's current trajectory, he'd make an "Up, not Over" move, with some arguing that NFL DC to college DC would actually be a step Down move.

Less than 1 year as a DC with Dan Campbell leading that defense. Only 1 year in college (LSU, 2020) then bolted for the NFL since.
Defensive personnel at LSU in 2020 and 2021 wasn't great.
