when this is all over. I was so impressed by him. Reminded me of Saban. LSU hit it out of the park on this hire. GEAUX TIGERS!

All it takes is 2, and he is. I can see Kiffin coaching here for 15-20 years and retiring here. Sky is the limit with Lane, his staff, LSU, the resources, brand etc.

I realized watching the press conference like many of you why Ole Miss was not happy with him. It's hard to find the right coach and lead a program the way he and his staff did for 6 years. He offered great insight on how he approaches everything in regards to football. It could be very special with him and his Ed O phone call made me laugh at great length.

Nobody wants to believe this. What that outcome means for an LSU run here makes them sick.

Absolutely. If Lane is here for 20 years, and it’s his destination spot (I think it is) it means Kiffin is about to go on a run like no other. Multiple NC’s.

Lane will win big here. But, coaching here for 15-20 years? It’s possible but I doubt it. Lane keeps talking about how his dad moved around for jobs for a reason. Lane, his dad, and HOF basketball coach Larry Brown are similar.

Lane is older now. LSU is a destination spot. I can tell you right now he is not leaving LSU for another college job.

Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St, are the only CFB jobs that rival LSU. It’s a lateral move for him. If the NFL comes calling in 5-7 years, that’s one thing, but he’s been there done that. He tried his hand at it, just like Saban did.

On the off chance Lane ever goes back to the NFL ranks after a time period, it means he has won in a big way at LSU anyways.

He won’t leave for Bama. LSU is a better job. Saban won 6 titles there and still thinks LSU is the a better job than Bama

Saban will advise against the NFL and remind him what sexton told him in 2004 & yet he did not listen.
