Now that it is over I will make this thread!

Verge played the ultimate high stakes poker hand in this coaching search. With OM and UF at the table Verge pushed it all in on the first hand and never got called on a bluff. Verge/LSU played it cool and let the others panic.

From what we have heard LSU was willing to let Lane coach through the playoffs and OM never called us on it. We might have got cold feet and started vetting others or tipped our hand that we did not have the patience to wait. UF dropped out on this issue last week. Instead OM fricked up and pushed Lane into a corner made him make the decision they did not want and in the end Verge never had to flip his cards...

I was afraid to post this before Lane's feet were on the ground in BTR because... I am not a gambler!

Yeah, Verge did his thing. Now his primary job is to let Kiffen do his thing and keep politicians from meddling.

I mean we all knew this already. Are you saying we really weren’t going to let him coach the playoff?

I've played poker with guys like this that like to go all in early and often. The key to beating them is just steal some blinds and wait for a premium hand.

Whether Verge can make it to the final table is yet to be determined, but to this point, I'm in his corner.

Now let's go make sure Basketball gets right.

Guess we will never know because OM didnt allow it. I was more afraid that if Lane made a deep run he might get cold feet and stay. The longer this drew out the lower our odds were to complete the deal.
