No matter your school, you probably buy season tickets, pay alumni dues, and donate to the athletic fund and the NIL fund. So, as fans, we pay first. We find out who the coach is last, even though we pay. It sucks.

I'm not implying anything except that all these clowns work for us and they keep us in the dark.

You want the athletic department to call everyone who buys tickets to a game to give them a heads up??

That seems…messy

Would you rather they broadcast they hired Kiffin and then have Kiffin change his mind at the eleventh hour? Wouldn’t you rather he be bound by a signed contract?

Do you feel you should have been asked to be in the meetings since you pay $2,000 of the $500M LSU football makes? You sound like the dude that is on earnings calls for Brinker every quarter because you have 7 shares of Chilis.

I’m just glad it’s the opposite with taxes.

There’s a lot of transparency when it comes to that. Right?

It’s like owning a stock, your opinion doesn’t truly matter until you own enough to damage the company if you decide to sell.

First off they don't work for you. As a fan you are their customer. Like any business they can't publicly announce anything until everything is finalized.

The same applies to government at the highest levels. While it should be ‘generally’ transparent, nobody thinks that all secrets should be known by citizens/fans. It would make the job of the CIA very difficult.
