The Aggie beatdown at home was possibly the best thing that could have happened to LSU.

That horrific and embarrassing debacle set into a motion a chain of events that none of us thought was remotely possible.

Ask yourself this: If Lane Kiffin was announced tomorrow as the head coach of Aggie or Florida or Bama, would you be extremely worried about that? Yeah, me too. That's what all the other schools in the conference are feeling today. No more Grindin' Brian and Joe Sloan on the opposing sideline.

SEC rivals will obviously downplay it, but seeing Kiffin in the purple & gold with the type of resources he'll have here and the talent in Louisiana coupled with his strength navigating the NIL era has to be downright frightening to the entire SEC.

The wild thing is… every game on our schedule was winnable with just a tiny bit better execution.

Ole Miss came down to the 4th quarter as did Vandy and Oklahoma.

Bama was within grasp and A&M was another second half melt down like 2024.

But good teams find ways to win and bad teams find ways to lose.

Hopefully Lane brings that magic with him.

I think everyone in the conference knew Kiffin could be a significant problem if he ever got the “big” job. Well he just got it

They can try to down play it all they want, but deep down they know things just got scary.

Aggy won their superbowl versus one of our worst teams since the 90s

Yep, those idiots couldn’t contain themselves and it might have been the match to light a dynasty fire.

Like seriously. The resources, capital, and political will that LSU was able to martial in response to that game is something I did not think we were capable of. I was prepared for another 1-2 years of BK.
