The fact he doesn’t have 10+ targets in a game is criminal. That cost us points this season. Probably a lot of them.

He’s literally a mismatch for any defender

He doesn't have a firm understanding of the position, and he has dropped quite a few balls lately.

I'm guessing we don't throw to him because we never throw over the middle. Everything is released quickly and to the sideline. There's zero trust from this staff that the OL can protect long enough to allow those plays to develop.

His obsession with not catching the ball other than on jump passes likely has something to do with this.

He hates receptions.

True yet he's still our best option

...he has been injured… and put that with all the other reasons, in this thread, and that will explain some...

Saw Green said in an interview this week that he’s not going anywhere.

Kiffin is going to have a field day with him

Especially in the redzone. He had 1 on 1 on the 4th down before we called a timeout and ran that dumbass play at the end

Throw him more jump balls

They’re practically unguardable for 95% of the undersized DBs or LBs he sees as a TE. Plus a apeed mismatch for LBs.

Hes NOT a possession receiver. Throwing him quick game shite is dumb. What’s he gonna do with hitches and slants? He should be spending 90% of his time out on an island with some poor corner catching fades and jump balls, or at least demanding a safety overtop so they’re wasting 2 defenders

Catch the ball.

If the only thing he can do is jump high on fade routes, he has no utility in a serious offense.

Dude he drops a ton of fuking balls.

Until you catch those people don’t trust you.

He is a sloppy route runner with, at best, average hands. His catch radius is very small for a wr that's his size.
Someone that drops a bunch of passes DOES NOT warrant more targets. If he takes advantage of the targets he gets then I'm with you, but he doesn't.

He dropped a pass tonight that would've went for 20/30 yards.

Trey'Dez will be the happiest person in America if Kiffin is hired. He's going to turn him into a top 15 pick.

Second is probably Harlem Berry.

The amount of drops he’s had while wide open is absurd

The drop in the Bama game was a back breaker. We might win that game if he holds onto the ball.

That said, no one is perfect and at minimum he has very good upside. We're moving on to next year and he could be a huge asset if he improves

bayoumuscle21 I agree you are 100% right on wasting this young man we should have used him last night many times and if so we probably win.
