I’ve never been to one, but had a white roommate that went to at least one Southern game a year. He said they were a blast. I’ve always wanted to check one out, see the bands, see some guys play that haven’t been swayed by the NIL millions. I know the typical responses on here, and I’m sure they’ll be funny

I’ve gone to some local D2 games over the years, just wanting to expand my college football horizons I guess.

I've been to 3 or 4 Alcorn State/Jackson State @ Southern Miss games. The fans usually leave after the band plays at halftime.

I've been to multiple. I consider it a fun experience. Competitive wise, they're a step below your average FCS, or D2 teams. But at the same time, the crowd environment is usually better than many comparatively sized schools as well.
Other than that, the bands are a main character. It doesn't matter if the team is getting beat by 30. The band will still be in the stands playing their hearts out.

If you combine the attendance that is true.

The highest attended games of every college not name LSU in Louisiana involve them playing Grambling or Southern

By that reasoning Southeastern played to a larger crowd than the Bayou Classic when they were in Tiger Stadium. LA Tech as well.

You being purposely obtuse… I said if the game didn’t involve LSU… Grambling and Southern have more people attend their games than all other universities in Louisiana .., Tulane the last couple years probably have some games with more attendance..,

Are you? I said maybe if you combine their attendance. Which you must be doing.

Grambling and Southern stadiums don't even hold enough people to equal Tulane average.

Look at the dome and tell me that was a sellout crowd they played in front of. They sell the tickets to corporations and no one goes.

Are you serious???

Southern average attendance 2025:
22,051
Tulane:
23,980

That’s with Southern being 2-10 and Tulane on the brink of a playoff birth

Louisiana:
17,952
LA Tech:
15,999
Louisiana-Monroe:
15,083

You have no idea what you’re talking about

Is 23,980 larger than 22,051?

Also...my statement is still true.

How??? You suggested Southern and Grambling attendance combined wasn’t more than Tulane’s… you clearly had no clue how well attended those two schools games were.., as far as the Superdome looking empty… every Tulane game ever played in the Dome looked empty
