Seems clear he wants to come to LSU, given he hasn’t signed an extension.
Meeting with OM AD as we type. I’m guessing he wants to try and angle to be able to keep coaching the team.

Of course it did. Like I posted weeks ago, no matter how cool your In-Laws are, you don’t want to ever live near them if it can be avoided. Especially when your kids are basically grown.

Maybe he wants advice on how to handle the situation so he is reaching out to Nick and Pete. He wants to coach OM for the rest of the year and LSU next year. Or maybe he wants to make OM fire him so they look like the bad guys and he doesn't owe them any money.
