One recruiting/portal class isn't more important than head coach

Guys, get your heads out your asses. 95% of the players from this year's recruiting class and portal won't be here in 3 years. The head coach will.
Getting the right coach > saving 25 recruits that can just leave after next year anyway

Correct. Plus, I don't see how much impact it's really going to have at this point.
Getting the right coach is far more important. Can we please have an elite coach to sustain consistency at LSU?
Lane is in the top 6 coaches for wins over the past 5 wins.

I’m fine with waiting if the ink is dry. If he doesn’t sign by the end of the weekend you have to move on to other coaches.

Bro we aren’t losing or gaining any recruits whether he comes or not. Austin Thomas has handled portal additions the last couple of years. It’s not like Lane is going to coach the meaningless bowl game. People need to grow a pair.

If we end up paying someone like Sumrall $10 million a year it won’t matter anyway. We are screwed. The names on the market are terrible. It’s a bad coaching cycle to look for a coach.

Which is why we are willing to wait through a playoff run. Next year is probably rebuilding anyway.

Which is why you appease the guy you put everything into at this point.

I for one wouldn't have a problem with lane coaching till the end for ole miss. I dont really agree with how the schedule sets up. That needs to change
What I dont want is lsu getting left at the alter. It would have to be agreed upon some way legally. Dont see ole miss agreeing to that

NIL>HC. OSU hired a nobody but spends 40am a year on players.
