That this exact scenario would unfold? Something along the lines of the media reporting Florida being out of the running for Lane, only to come back on top Saturday or Sunday?
I could’ve sworn I read something like that a few days ago or so.

I mean it makes sense. Lane must not know he owes them $1 billion for breaking the MOU. As soon as he finds that out he will for sure go to Florida

These insiders make claims and if they are wrong, they will just say, "Things changed at the last minute and [Team Name] moved on." If they are right, they claim they have all of the sauce. It is a sad appeal for attention.
