I’m grateful for our next coach. Blessed be and thank you, Lane Kiffin!

If I knew for sure Marty said something like “you need to stay” I’d be glad to go to jail for knocking him out on the spot as a Tiger fan lol

I can guarantee you Marty Smith is not going to change Kiffins mind regardless lol.

I took it to mean he is leaving. Just was not the right time to announce it. Let the players have their moment.

He’s leaving and will apparently will say it was God and his family behind the decision. How can you argue with that?

If it’s done what is there to pray about and why would you say that if you have already made a commitment to LSU?

If emotion were winning the day, that presser would have been his “I’m not fricking leaving “ moment following a dominant victory over a rival and locking up a playoff spot

If you still “don’t know what you’re going to do “ after that…well you definitely know

He did his job.

He could have easily just said I am not going to answer questions about potential coaching jobs at this moment or just ignored the question altogether

That made me think of when Reggie white hit FA. Holmgren called and left a message saying it was god. For him to go to GB.
