Kiffin will stay at Ole Miss. It never has been in question. I really don’t know what the point of all this was. I hope I am wrong for your sakes. I am tired of the constant melodrama. Lane turned off a significant portion of the base. The belief is that it was necessary to show him wanted everywhere and then pick Ole Miss as the next stage in our progression as a program. Good luck as I have said before with the search.

Wow you may actually commit suicide with all of that cope. Don’t worry, we will take very good care of Lane for you.

Then why hasn’t he signed the extension?

All common signs point to LSU. The Lane factor throws a curve in people’s minds.

Awesome. It will be a couple of years before we are back. Enjoy Delvin as your new coach.

Why burn your bridges and piss off fans and players, if you planned to back? He is gone.

Great question. The answer is 99% of coaches never would. Lane in neurodivergent. He got millions of dollars worth of coverage and hype he intended to use for recruiting while knee capping a permanent rival.

Well then i hope he remains successful cuz if he starts sliding then he'll be gone. People may forgive but they dont forget.

This is where I think you are full of poo. No one outside of Ole Miss's fan base would believe that Lane stringing them along would be to make the program look better and take the next step forward. It does the complete opposite. Now, every team knows even the OM coach doesn't think they are a consistent NC contender.

Lane may stay, but the perception of OM is actually worse now than it was mid-season.

Exactly. The best way to prove that would've been to just sign the damn extension the first time. If he wanted changes, Ole Miss could've released that they're finalizing his extention, then it's done. No question. He still may choose to stay but he has to earn back the trust from the admin, boosters, fans and players.

If Lane stays, he’d better sink some really deep roots in Oxford. Because no one else will take a chance on him again. He will be the Rebel version of Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz — a darn good coach but an eternal bridesmaid. Kinda like what he’s like with y’all right now — the Ferentz of the SEC

Just think what Ferentz could have done had he jumped to Ohio State or Michigan a decade ago.

I never thought A&M would get to Atlanta before Ole Miss. But here we are.

Go Dawgs!

Who cares about the fricking story? Sign the damn paper and focus on your playoff run. Not yourself.

STFU with that ridiculous shite. That word is absolutely meaningless. And you’re just stupid enough to use it.
