how come Detroit got Eminem to represent at this halftime show, but NOLA can’t get Lil Wayne to represent at the fricking Super Bowl.

I think Detroit paid him (or his company) to produce their Thanksgiving halftime show for like 5 years or something. He’s responsible for finding talent and the show

Hopefully this was Jack White auditioning for next year’s super bowl.
We want some sort of Rock artist/band for once. It’s been 15 years since we’ve had one. (The Who). Maroon 5 and Coldplay don’t count.

Not going to happen with Jay-Z picking who performs.
I see they signed an extension with the NFL in 2024 for 5 more years. So we’ll be stuck with Jay-Z’s selection for the foreseeable future. What a shame.
