I’m flying home for thanksgiving and ran into a staffer for the athletic department. I alluded to LSU signing Kiffin and he replied that he can’t say anything but had a shite eating grin on his face and winked.

So you just randomly ran into a guy and he just so happened to randomly have a name tag that said “Joe Blow- LSU Athletic Department Staffer and Knower of the Hire”

I’m not saying OP is legit (or even being truthful), but it’s not hard to imagine an LSU fan seeing a guy wearing an LSU shirt, striking up a conversation, having said shirt wearing person say they work for the athletic department and then vaguely discussing our pending coaching hire.
ETA - I know that is one long-arse sentence.
