Would Ole Miss still really want him to stay?

Im sure they would because of the wins he has brought them and possible playoff this year but at the same time he has to have lost a lot of fan support over last couple of weeks. We don’t know the talks he has had behind closed doors with AD and staff and team. Surely if he was seriously considering staying many conversations would have taken place in private with AD and staff and team so it’s not a huge distraction in preparing.

They’ll say no now that they think he is leaving

But if he does stay they will love him and play it off as though he pulled off the greatest troll job in cfb

He he stays, that means he thought about it deeply, considered all angles, and decided Ole Miss was better than LSU or Florida.

They will love him even more.

They’d get over it but he would have to keep winning at a high rate. Their patience has worn as thin as tissue paper.

He definitely done damage in all this. I wonder what the reaction is if he has taken OM through all of this and stays, but then gets blown out in the first round of playoffs.
