Lsu vs Florida State in Pensacola Wahoo Stadium.

You think it would attract fans like Biloxi?

LSU would easily fill any minor league park within a reasonable driving distance or where a big alumni base is located but you are also giving up a home game where LSU actually makes the $

What time of the year would this take place? Is it late winter/early spring when these sort of matchups generally take place prior to conference games?

Biloxi is much closer for their fanbase to travel to but if it happened in a warmer part of the year, I could see families using that as an excuse for a weekend beach trip. Sucks that you'd have to cross the Mobile tunnel though.

That would be Cool! Would also like to see LSU vs. So. Miss in Biloxi. Wahoo Stadium is one of the Coolest and Nicest MiLB Stadiums that I have been to.

Yeah it might be a draw in the fall. Not sure that the Florida panhandle has as many LSU fans, but I could see a good turnout traveling there if the football schedule aligns. It would likely occur in the first 2 weeks in November.

Unless there's a football conflict, LSU baseball fans will make it work.

To make it work even better, coordinate it with the Blue Angels homecoming show.

BR raised/LSU grad/Pensacola resident here. Blue Wahoo Stadium is regularly regarded as one of the best in the minor leagues, and the views of Pensacola Bay and Pensacola Beach are amazing. LSU vs. Florida State or really anybody, whether in the fall (similar to Biloxi) or in the spring, would be pretty awesome..

Miss St vs Florida St a few weeks ago sold out in Wahoo Stadium. It’s a beautiful venue and close to all the downtown restaurants and bars.

Just read an article while researching park dimensions and it said that reserved seating was offered to Blue Wahoo season ticket holders before opening to the public and sold out in under an hour. There were some general admission tickets to a berm area that were available afterwards.

They also have a website for season ticket holders to resell on the secondary market so we'd likely expect to have to pony up for tickets if they buy all 5,000 seats in anticipation of rabid LSU baseball fans traveling.

It also looks like Ohio State and St. Louis will be playing a 3 game series there on this coming opening weekend. Would be the first regular season NCAA baseball game hosted there since Samford, Troy, Michigan State and UL Lafayette played a tournament there in March of 2020.

What they need to do is just schedule a home vs home series with Florida State. That would be awesome to play second weekend of March every year

Went to Pensacola this past summer to watch the Shuckers play there. Would absolutely go to watch the Tigers play there.
