Will LSU-Ole Miss become the new Alabama-LSU if Kiffin signs Friday?

Minus the fact that they won't be as nearly as successful as we were following Saban.
But will they despise us as much as we despised Alabama?
Should make for some fun environments

You must be a young blood cuz Ole Miss has always been LSU's biggest overall rival going back to the 50's. Bama was more Tennessee and obviously Auburn in their 75 year overall past.

No.
We play 10 times, we should win 9 regularly.
Nothing like LSU/Bama.

With Ole Miss being one of the three annual opponents and Alabama not being one, there is a possibility it will become the biggest SEC rival again as it was from around 1957 through 1972.
After that Ole Miss dropped off competitively a bit and Alabama became the biggest rival other than Tulane. When the Tulane annual game ended in 1994 and LSU started playing Florida and Auburn every year, they were the secondary rivals after Alabama.

Ole Piss will never, in any way, be comparable to LSU

NIL and the portal completely changed the game like when the NFL introduced free agency. Anyone can go from bottom to top very quick.

Yes, LSU will dominate the series like Alabama did with Nick.

Always was. I was born in 1970and all that I can remember is my dad’s hate for ole miss and Tulane.
Ole Miss hate was passed down and remained, but I’ve gotten over Tulane, ( even the early 80s) .
Lying my arse off, f ole miss and Tulane……. Just because.
Spin-off thread would be the Vince Gibson years. Wheelbarrow races on WWL, the house on Morrison in the east with the lsu roof, and the fight in the end zone at TS just to start. Great few years in football and basketball.
