On the rehab circuit. If he gets ENMU to 9 or 10 wins in 2 years a P4 awaits.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually agree with you here. Briles may have been complicit in the whole Baylor fallout, but dude is a straight up offensive genius. I wouldn’t mind having him as the OC at LSU. He and Kiffin would be a lethal combination.

He gets some hate at TCU, but Hoover has been a turnover machine this year and injuries have plagued us.

Well he took the job, not too mention we tried to talk 74 year old Saban back into the game.

The man turns 70 in a few weeks. If/when Bill Belichick gets fired, Briles will be tied for oldest active CFB HC. Dont know how much the guy has left in the tank at that age.

Didn’t say anything about him calling the plays. Briles could serve in the same capacity as Charlie Weis Jr. currently does. Personally I’d rather have Briles contributing to game plans and offensive strategy than Weis Jr. if that makes me retarded, then so be it.

The Italian League held their Super Bowl in Toledo this summer - really- and Art Briles coached the O for the winning team, and it was a blowout.

Art was railroaded by the UT/ESPN/Mouse train after the Longhorn Network investment and Baylor’s rise. It’s ok surprise this all happened shortly after Baylor flipped 5 star QB Jarrett Stidham from Tech and got a commit from five star receiver Tren’Davian Dickson (Navasota baw, guy flipped to Texas and just never showed up and never played a collegiate down, was animal when I saw him in person).

The entire Baylor rape scandal wound up seeing one player wind up behind bars and another have his decision overturned like five times. ESPN was reporting live from campus daily for like four months as though it was the war in Iraq. I believe the final count of alleged ‘rapes’ per the book writer ESPN pedastoold’d wound up eclipsing 200+, and like I said, only a couple of arrests. This number is easily within the average of what all D1 programs encounter per calendar season.

They ruined Sam Oakman, Art Briles and many others careers and reputations.
