In 4 days yet still being allowed around the program

Seems like this week could be napalm as far as press conferences are concerned in Oxford

Lane's not leaving Ole Miss. LSU is going to look like fools at the end of this week!

Exactly that's why he needs a week to dwell on it

You don’t look like a fool shooting your best shot. You’d just better have a viable contingency plan

Considering the fact that Lane's not leaving Ole Miss... I'm perfectly fine with it.

I don’t have a dog in this fight yet from an outsider’s perspective I am interested in one aspect of this search. If Kiffin has been so tight lipped about it and no players have been informed because they definitely would have posted it immediately, how are so many insiders on all sides aware of his intentions? I do agree that Lane would likely have already signed the Ole Miss extension if he really wanted to stay but what if he is using the offers from LSU and UF as leverage for more demands from Ole Miss? It could also very well be that Ole Miss can’t match LSU and UF’s offers. I have to say as a Tennessee fan, coaching searches are pretty entertaining and as a staunch hater of all things Alabama and Florida I am pulling for y’all to land him

The only people who will look like fools are those who believe this is finalized right now.

People will troll but ultimately LSU will just move on to the next target and make a hire.

Just ready for it to end..it’s like dating the hottest girl at your high school, great moments but you know there’s always another dude lurking…great offensive philosophy and player development, good in game coach with 1-2 wtf games a year, flashy personality with fan appeal, social media expert and forward thinker regarding the future of football..but a prototypical mercenary who will give the future fan base acid reflux as soon as Bama, Tx or a big name pro team opens up..thank you for your service Coach Lane

Why, because you said?

LSU is doing what they’re suppose to and that’s going after the coach they want. It’s November, there was never going to be an announcement earlier. If Lane doesn’t work out, LSU will move on to the next guy.

Your opinion is odd, because they would look like fools not giving everything, and taking to time for the guy they want, signed or not, in the end.

Thankfully you’re not in charge of anything meaningful regarding LSU.

I know a player currently on roster there. He’s good friends with my son. He’s already gearing up to transfer. Nothing has been said to the team in any definitives. The players seem to be neutral on it with transferring so easy. Seem to think most will head out to other teams.

Watch the Egg Bowl. That should give a good idea whether the team quit on Kiffin and their feelings

Can OM put 100,000 into the stands?
Can OM consistently get a Top 10 recruiting class?
Does OM ever have a Top 10 roster? (no, last year was not Top 10)
Is OM a blue blood?
Has OM won a natty or 2 or 3 this century?
Does OM recruit in the most fertile NFL state that has no other in state school it recruits against?
Does OM get prime time night games?

I hope Miss.State puts belt to the arse in the Egg Bowl. Then I hope Vandy beats Tenn. Both end up 10-2 with Vandy getting in. Then that retard Keith Carter gets fired, I should have never needed to hear that guys name in 10,000 years as a LSU fan.
