Rapture Ready

I have had some great conversations of late when it comes to politics/current events in relation to the Christian event of the rapture.
Let's start at the end shall we. As I understand it, Christians will no longer be here. That's the largest religion in the world. That event would suddenly make Islam the largest and most dominant.
Western governments were formed, regardless of what people think they know, on Christian beliefs. With the rapture, there will be nothing to stop the transformation into an islamic rule.
We are already seeing what the effects would be. Even here in the USA, we see it. We know. We are doing nothing about it now. So what will keep it from totally taking over if the rapture takes place?
If right, is the USA rapture ready? Are you?

I was in a bible study and the instructor/facilitator saids the rapture is not biblical. If that is wrong, point me to the chapter and verse.

I do not think the word "rapture" is found in the Bible. The event that is called "rapture" is.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
6 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
That is the literal definition of rapture. The word "rapture" is derived from the Latin word for "caught up" (harpazo in Greek)

Is this where we check in and mention that the word rapture is never used in the Bible?
Or should we wait until later to bring up the fact that the translation from 1 Corinthians is that "they shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye," and not " taken in the twinkling of an eye?"
I'll just be over here sitting with the tiniest of details that since the fall of man, all of humanity has hinged on Christ's sacrifice, resurrection and Second Coming, but that last part is such of a big deal that it happens in secret?

Those that remain. Are they going to be ready for the fall out that will take place via the Gov changes.
Hard to imagine the USA under islamic laws, but what or rather who will be left to fight it?

I think, at that point, it would be welcomed actually.
People would be scared, insecure and looking for anything to believe in.
