He was the #1 recruit in the Country and he threw for 30 Yrs with 4 Kits as a Freshman, so if he was overrated, it had nothing to do with looking good against mighty Bama, as if that's when folks took notice.

Of course, people did not notice his performance in the biggest game of his career... still to this day.

QB talent has bottomed out these days compared to 20 years ago.

I don’t know if the talent has really changed all that much

To me it’s more today’s game sees mediocre QBs throwing the ball 40 times a game, as opposed to 20-25 and playing game manager with balance in the running game. Their shortcomings just aren't hidden

Trevor just got exposed today for being able to identify when and if the other would blitz or fake the blitz and droo into coverage. I believe all his picks today were when they faked the blitz and dropped and just jumped the routes. One was just a bad throw in the endzone.

He's been holding us back for awhile now but we're stuck with his contract.

Once in a generation size and talent and a genuinely good dude. Teammates love him. Went to to toe with and brought down some CFB legends on the biggest stages.

I agree hes been incredibly frustrating, but what can you do? Entire roster has been built around him for 5 years now and you have to ride it out

This is true but his 3 TD passes were all A+ plays / throws.

The pick in the endzone was tipped and redirected - bad luck.

Do you play for Jacksonville or do you work for the team?

He had 3 bad throws all day. Two were picked. Thats unlucky. Mahomes had like 5 bad throws today and way fewer good throws.

TL played a good borderline great game other than those 3 throws
