TD seals the game whereas TOD gives them the ball back with better field position

Dude now the Lions kick a field goal and tie and we all know Detroit at home beats that dumpster fire ?? with Famous Jaime’s at the helm

The team is 2-8 and Jameis was moving the ball, they rolled the dice and lost. Not saying I agree with the decision but that was the rationale behind going for it at the 4 yard line

I hear you but it would have to feel like you already lost if they tie it up and go into OT ……….

It was risky but they thought they had a good playcall to score the TD. It was a very bold move

Odd decision not to kick the FG?

Was the right decision to go for it, FG gives them ball back with better position

OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE NEVER COACHED FOOTBALL AND SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER COACH FOOTBALL

4 yard line

It was 4th and goal from the 6, the FG was 100% the call there. Make them score a TD to beat you.

I guess he didn't realize Jameis Winston was still his quaterback.

I think he secretly wants to be the second coach the Giants fire in one season.

They kicked a FG two weeks ago in basically the same position against the Bears and still lost. The team will find a way to lose no matter what decision they make

They would have been up 6. You don't think Detroit could have went up and down the field on that defense? Kafka went for it because he knew Bowen's defense couldn't stop anything.

I vaguely remember Daboll kicking a field goal late and not going for it and everyone was calling for his head.

The Cowboys and Jags did just about the exact same thing and won. Maybe despite not kicking.
