Country Day will repeat in Division 3 select.

Who they got that can play!

2027 G/F KB Brewer. Son of former NBA F Corey Brewer. 6'4 180.
Curtis McAllister. 2028 G. Son of Deuce McAlister. May have a brighter future in football as a WR. 6'4 185. Won the MVP of the state championship game last year as a freshman.
Then sprinkle in some other lower level guys and reliable seniors. They're loaded.

Too bad they play in the baby division…

They play the big boys all through the regular season to get prepped. And this isn’t football, the “ baby divisions” have serious talent. Calvary Baptist, who CD beat last year, has a top 10 player in the country in his grade. Cd could repeat but Calvary is really good too.

Their best prospect imo is a freshman who you didn’t name.

Didn’t Deuce used to do some work with St Martin’s?

Which is who?
Rhys Diley. He has an advanced skill set and is making waves on the AAU circuit. If he continues growing he’s an IMG prospect, but that’s obviously speculative.
Brewer is a power conference lock for sure. Not sure about Deuces son.

Zachary has to be the favorite to repeat in 5A non select.
As far as players…..Ahmad Hudson from Ruston is fun player to watch. Not sure if Brysten Martinez from EA is going to play this year…;but he is also a fun player to watch. The PG at Zachary (Edmonds?) is very good and Conrad from Central is very good too.

Yep.
Denham springs is hopeful as well… lost 2 starters from last year (Madison Prep, and expelled), but picked up one from Live Oak and one from Liberty
