November 23, 1991.

With Michigan leading Ohio State 24-3 in the fourth quarter, Wolverines star punt returner/wide receiver Desmond Howard fielded a punt and returned it 93 yards for the game-sealing score. Howard's Heisman pose in the end zone went on to become one of the defining moments in college football history.

Aside from that punt return, did anyone remember all the diving catches he made that season?

The youngsters didn't get to experience the great Keith Jackson. I loved when he teamed up w/ Frank Broyles.

Dude had a crazy career. Never had a 1,000 yd season in college or the pros but won a Heisman and Super Bowl MVP.

First thing that popped into my mind remembering the Desmond Howard clip....

"I had forgotten College Football used to be amazing"

Now it feels Corporate and plastic and predictable and surprisingly cheap given the ridiculous amounts of money involved.

He was an awesome college player. I think he had one that game for a touchdown too.

And now he screams with feigned enthusiasm on Saturday mornings. Priceless.
