my sauces are telling me that Lane is staying put at Ole miss and is using LSU and UF for leverage. I mean why would he announce his decision after the egg bowl? Especially if Ole miss is going into the playoff.

From multiple threads you get information that LK has given the LSU BoS his verbal agreement to the contract. Nothing appears to be signed so its still open ended. But as others have stated, LK really has burned a lot of bridges with OM.

I really think people ought to be preparing themselves for this eventuality. Because it’s just as likely scenario as any other, and the crash will hit them hard.
