Not that there was any doubt, but it was absolutely hilarious and great. Seems to tee up a stand up special. Holy shite his house is HUGE and awesome. Definitely worth the hour and 45 minute watch.

His home is fricking amazing
,,,and yes, fantastic watch. It was interesting to see him laugh naturally and not as one of his characters. that really threw me off at first but made me realize just how awesome he is

Man talk about somebody that did it the right way. He still looks amazing at 64. Was shocked to hear he was able to stay away from drugs and alcohol in the 80s even while partying with Rick James. I kept waiting for there to be a “dark moment” as there always is with these docs but it never came. Good for him. Would be HUGE if he got back on stage.
Was hoping they’d talk about LIFE which is one of my favorite comedies of all time lol

Watched it, really enjoyed it. Eddie’s the man, always has been
CSB - Was in Vegas in 2012, we got hooked up with a vip booth in the bellagio club (the bank maybe) and while we were in there the host was all geeked up about sitting “a really famous guy” next to us. It was Eddie Murphy and juwanna man. In the doc he mentioned not knowing how to go out and party after his divorce and not wanting to be the center of attention, that had to be about that time. He just kind of stood there with sunglasses on looking around the whole time not really giving a shite. Just shook his hand and didn’t talk any. Juwanna Mann had to be gassed up though, wouldn’t shut up, hyper, all over one of the wives lol. Fun night

It's pretty good but you can definitely tell it's "Eddie Murphy brought to you by Eddie Murphy"
Still he deserves his due. Has had quite a career.

I guess they didn't cover the trans hooker incident.

I was sorry to see his career take a tumble after that. Bowfinger is one of the most masterful comedy performances of the last half century and Murphy's hits far outshine his one or two misses.

Don`t forget getting that hummer from the Tranny.
But I had to take a break once that started interviewing that Comdic Pete D.
That dude, what he did in a past life. Dated all those gorgeous ladies.
I ended up watching the Nutty Professor.
About to continue with the documentary.

It was more than that.
I do like some of his "misses" though. Distinguished Gentleman comes to mind.
Eddie made more movies that Jim Carrey but it's interesting to compare their careers. One dominated the 80s, the other the 90s, with no one really comparable to either. Carrey wasn't known for stand up.
