Why would Kiffin delay the announcement that he is staying? Why drag it out?…..

What would be the point in that. I could see it if he was leaving. He may or may not be coming to LSU, but I don’t think he is staying at OM. JMO.

I think he’s too worried about the optics of the situation. But it’s not his fault. The CFB calendar is a complete mess.

He is not staying. He wants to stay and coach his team but leave Ole Miss at the same time. Ole Miss wants to win the Egg Bowl to further solidify their resume for the playoff, so they want him to coach through the Egg Bowl.

Why would you want a man coaching your team who botches his exits regularly?
He left Tennessee in one of the most grotesque manners in sports history. A *ten second* press conference. Lied on his way out the door.
He is managing this current circus in a downright immoral manner. An actual coach would hunker down with his team and outright ignore all overtures until after the season. Lane’s players are being outright let down by their coach right now. It’s shameful.
Why do we want this at LSU?

The pure ultimate kiffin move to this point would be to stay and mock lsu and Florida . 100% that is his brand

It’s more likely he loses to MSU from screwing around instead of focusing and ends up staying like when he flirted with Auburn.
