You can’t write ‘deals done, leaked shortly’

A flat out lie

something clearly happened that was not expected by the LSU side...even the main insider on On3 said a deal was imminent...

If you look at it from the AD’s point of view, this clearly mean he’s gone and will coach his last game against MSU.

They were hearing things from the LSU side.
No one had any idea what was going to happen in the Ole Miss meeting regarding the announcement.

If he was staying at ole piss they would’ve announced it. They are letting him coach the egg bowl while they find an interim coach, and start their search(like they haven’t already).

I think what happened was Lane convinced them that they need to win the Egg Bowl to get into the playoff, so OM did the best thing for them.
Get into the playoff and have some time to get a new coach while chasing a championship.

Lane gets a better "send off" with his players than leaving them now and we move forward at 400 miles an hour on the Lane Train in BR in a week.

It’s not a ‘they were hearing things and things changed with the meeting’.

My source has never said a timetable. It is in lane’s court and no one knows when/if he will say no.

There are liars on here

Who said there is not a deal in place? Lane met with OM. He declined their pitch and instead negotiated exit terms.

OM is wisely trying to preserve their season and give them the best shot in CFP with an EB win.

He was jerking everyone’s chain. He didn’t know shite, but was having fun making up a load of shite and watching everyone running with it.

I mean the deal could be done and he’s just trying to do right by Ole Miss. And finishing the regular season to make it public. It’s not that deep.
