"We recognize this decision will garner strong opinions. Let me be clear: Baylor expects excellence, accountability and competitiveness at the highest level. We are not complacent and we are not settling for mediocrity."

He did give them the best season they've ever had. But damn, they've always sucked. Art Briles was their best coach. He gave them four 10+ win seasons out of eight.

Not a good market for a school like Baylor to be searching for a head coach. To many moves being made at higher levels.
