I didn't fully grasp how many illegals are actually here. Re: Charlotte.

I'm in Charlotte doing a project. I can't explain the difference in traffic in the last week. There's another thread with a map that shows a pretty good depiction, but unless you actually experience it yourself you can't truly see the difference. It has been a 15 minute difference in my trip to and from the project.

Absolutely shocking.

I live in Miami and there has to be over a million illegals here

No one here speaks English as a first language and countless times ive had to interact with a worker at the bank, grocery store, car service center, etc. who speaks zero English. I find it hard to believe anyone who speaks zero English is a legal US citizen

The greater Nashville area looked like a ghost town when some sweeps were being done by the THP and state police. There are far more illegals here than any Democrat will admit and they are having a massive, negative impact on so many things.

No one even knows how many came in.

Estimates are 10-15 million

Trump says more like 25 million

Call me crazy but I seem to recall hearing 30 million were here just 15 - 20 years ago.

Numbers depend on how far back one goes.

I heard 15-20M before Biden flew open the gates and started bringing them here on our tax dollars...

I was thrilled with the ICE actions in Nashville. They took dangerous criminals out of the area where I work.

They're all criminals. Every single illegal is a criminal.
Don't let lib scum manipulate the messaging.

The 12 million number was used by McCain and the other senators that were trying to pass another amnesty. Almost 20 years ago in 2007.

I started to look into the numbers and I might've been adding the illegals in with foreign born residents.

DHS Estimates from 1990 - 2022

There are a few pdfs that are worth digging into. Like just how far off the estimates were in the late 90s:

quote:

Executive Summary
Estimates of the Unauthorized Immigrant Population
Residing in the United States: 1990 to 2000
January 31, 2003
Summary
The INS estimates that 7.0 million unauthorized immigrants resided in the United States
in January 2000. The total population estimate is somewhat higher than INS’ previous estimate.
In its last set of estimates, INS estimated the population to be 5.0 million in October 1996; the
new estimates produced a total of about 5.8 million for the same date. Estimated annual
population growth was variable in the 1990s; on average, however, the population grew by about
350,000 per year from 1990 to 1999, about 75,000 higher than INS’ previous annual estimate of
275,000 for the 1990s.

Atlanta traffic had cleared up somewhat while the government was shut down. It's gone to hell in a handbasket again now that the federal government is back up and running. Of course, removing the illegals would certainly make a noticeable dent in the traffic as well. (Most certainly around the Norcross, Chamblee, and Lawrenceville areas.)

Notice the garbage in the parking lots at these stores. The Burbank location has probably a 15 yard dumpster’s worth of loose trash at all times.

I believe we should start hanging intruders hourly in every city. They aren’t citizens, and should not be afforded our rights or treasure. It won’t take them long to get the message. Problem solved.
