Thank you Jesus, this is the way it's suppose to be in the fall. Sucks that we only see it once a year (twice if lucky), but that white purple white or all white needs to DIAF. Also, go back to the purple with slightly bigger mesh so we can see the lights shining of the pads underneath. Several teams have gone back to this look in college and the NFL, just with modern material.

Guess you didn't read "modern material." It's a badass look with the new dri fit fabrics. SMU and GT have brought the look back for several games. You do realize that college and the NFL do throwbacks right with new age material, right?

GPG is aesthetically the best, but was linked to losing in the past, esp during the Archer/ Camp Curley regimes. So no-- I don't want to see it tomorrow night.
WPW is still beautiful, and in recent years it seems like the Tigers play their best in that combo: last year beat Oklahoma 37-17 and Baylor 44-31 wearing that uniform. So THIS is what I hope to see!

No, sir. Paul Dietzel established in 1958 that gold helmets, white jerseys and gold pants are the accepted uniform for the LSU Tiger football team, for all home games. This in part because of LSU's excellent play during home games in that combination during his tenure at LSU-- so it was then GWG, and so it shall be the standard uniform now and hereafter.
GPG should NEVER be worn at home, thanks to the abysmal performance by LSU football in that scheme during the NCAA mandate during the period of 1983-94. We went 2-5 at home in Stovall's last year, leading to his dismissal, and 9-16 in home purples during Hallman's four years, leading to his firing. So no.
