You all check on your Ole Miss and Florida peeps.
It is over, LK to LSU
Signed last night between 9 and 10
2 separate people in room confirmed
A lot of incentives built in
LK wants to win championships
Ed O most likely coming back

The media had everyone convinced this was not the best place for him to be and they all bought it. What a crock of shite to anyone who has any clue about this game
BK left ND ranked #6 chance to make the playoff. The media melted SOOOOO hard. They didn’t learn then apparently.

He can't sign a contract while he's still head coach of Ole Miss. Are you retarded?
Agreement sure, contract. No

Are you speaking based on a handful of tv shows in your memory?
“It is generally recommended to wait until after you have a signed contract from the new employer before informing your current one to avoid potential negative consequences, such as being let go immediately. The standard procedure is to wait until you have the new offer confirmed and then provide notice to your current employer as required by your contract.”
I am not an attorney by the way… this is an AI response from a google search. Not difficult, and preferable to going off half-cocked and calling folks you don’t know “retarded”, Do better man.

If this is retarded, then I have been retarded with 3 different employers. I have always had a signed contract in hand before turning in my notice to my current employer.

OK, no reason to call people names. I was told exactly what I posted. Take that how you want, whether agreement or contract. Either way it was signed last night between 9pm and 10 pm. They sure did make it seem like it was a contract.
Some of you all sure do seem like you do not want LSU to succeed at anything. Like immediately attack the good news with negativity. How about just not respond or read the board anymore. It was be a lot better health wise for you.

Sexton may have signed an agreement, not Lane. He must give notice to OM first. He may do that at a meeting today.

Can you help me to understand the difference?

He can’t breach the contract/agreement that he’s about to breach by not staying through its term?

Think of an agreement as the offer sheet. It has the high level details in it. Contract is much larger and more detailed and will be going back and forth between lawyers for a while.
