Please tell me Cassidy isn't going to be reelected. Can anyone tell me that? Is Flemming making enough ground? I'm cautiously optimistic but even a shred of a chance he gets another 6 years is going to totally and completely dishearten me from ever paying attention to modern politics again.
I really think this may be the endgame for any political interest here. Not that it isn't often hanging on by a thread but this would have to be the end of the line. I mean really, what's the point after that? What remote shard of the political electorate could you find common ground with after something like that?
