I don’t think there was any ploy, I think Sumrall was pissed it was leaked and pulled the plug

1) Florida wanted to put pressure on someone. And they got good news and canceled it.
2) Sumrall got pissed it got leaked and canceled the whole thing. Maybe Auburn called him pissed. Maybe he just hates that Florida leaked it. Maybe he smelled a set up.
3) Sumrall wanted to put pressure on someone and got good news from Auburn and canceled it.
4) All of that is bull shite including the original leak

He would see that Florida can and will move on. It’s a classic tactic. Not saying that’s what happened. That’s just believable
