Is it a good idea to catch an uber from hotel to Tiger stadium for the family on Saturday?

Yes because you will not have to worry about parking. But depending on when you leave you will sit in traffic like everyone else

No issues. After game just start walking towards hotel. You will get one

If any will come pick you up in the first place. I’ve ubered to a game many times. I’ve yet to meet a driver who picks up after. It’s not worth it to fight the traffic for what is basically one fare.

In is fine. Out, you’ll have to wait until traffic subsides. Sometimes a couple hours, which can also be fun.

Problem is there are really no after parties anymore. Because of theft, people pack up their tailgates before entering the stadium. We used to just drop the tent.

If you leave after the game, you should have no problems getting an Uber.

If you leave at halftime, however…

We typically stay Downdown BR near the capitol, Uber to the game, walk back along the Levee after the game, getting an Uber out is nearly impossible unless you hangout for quite a while following the game.

I wouldn't take my family to that dump site .. save your money and your family from seeing some despicable sheet and watch it from your Hotel room .

Can they even get back once contraflow starts?

Seems like you’d have to walk somewhere with no contraflow, which could be pretty far. Maybe the neighborhood between Perkins and the lakes?

Go have some drinks at a bar after the game. Wait til everything opens back up before trying to get an Uber.
