Is he any good? Only place he was a DC was during Lane's time at Florida Atlantic.

Verg told the representative Baker was on the block. It was Verg's last stand. He held firm for a little while on Baker. But he had to let him go in negotiation

Are they still firm on keeping Davis? They absolutely would not allow Kelly to fire him.

I am certain that we don't have the full story on that one. I could see a scenario where Scott wanted Sloan fired and then Kelly said he won't fire sloan but wants to fire Davis. Then Scoot saying thats not good enough.
I can't see a scenario where Scott died on the hill that Davis was inexpendable.

Monte Kiffin was one of the best. I’m sure they both learned much from their father. I’m pretty sure Monte served under Lane Kiffin both at Tennessee and USC.

Baker and his D coaches did a great job, with an offense that made it almost impossible. I think our D held almost every team to less than there yearly average. That is pretty darn good with a 3 and out offense.......so let's fire them and hire the kid brother of the new HC who has never won anything..
