It's another John Hughes travel comedy with similarities to Planes,Trains and Automobiles. It's a good Thanksgiving flick, and Ed O'Neill is hilarious.

Always wanted that deck of cards

It's Lucky Nick Pappagiorgio! (I did not know how to spell that offhand)

Love this movie. I think most young men whose dad may have not been in the picture yearn for a Dutch type figure in their lives.

Don't know if ppl realize how big of a shock/awesomeness if was to see "Al Bundy" in a mainstream film like this.

Obviously still playing on much of the Bundy vibe, but not a total buffoon.

O'Neil really shed his TV pigeon hole about as well as anyone could back then.

Dutch
Little Giants
Blue Chips
Etc.

Any movie with Christopher McDonald playing an a-hole is a good movie.

That deck of cards gave me weird feelings as a kid.

I haven't watched it in forever, but I remember really liking it back in the day. It always trips me out that the kid is the same dude from Can't Hardly Wait and Vegas Vacation.

ETA: Did not remember this as a Thanksgiving movie. I'll definitely be watching this soon.

Loved this movie as a kid and rewatch it last year and it's still great. So many good scenes.
