$30 million for NIL is ridiculous.

I didn't think LSU was that serious.
The leading spender last year was $22 mil... Texas.
First of all, how does Lane say no to that?
Second of all, even if he DOES say no to that, what other prominent coach is gonna turn that shite down?
BK really made everyone vomit blood, theyre pissed off

Im not sure we offer that to EVERY coach. Lane has proven he knows what to do with the money

It's rev share + NIL. SEC football rev share will be $15 mil, so it's "only" $15 mil in NIL

Insane amount of money. I wonder if the dam is going to break at all the other big schools because of this?

It's not 30m NIL. It's 30 in NIL and rev share combined.

You could get close to 1M per starting 22.

Rev share is whatever the schools allocates to it

You wanna win or do you want to settle for 8-4?

LSU is going to start an arms race of sorts with NIL spending.
And you’re right, Lane would be retarded to turn that down but if he does, we’re getting damn near whoever we want after him.
One thing that I do wonder is if Jay Johnson sees all this and demands higher roster spending as well. He should.

Ill take 100,000 of that and be a happy camper.

Outside of Kentucky, SEC schools will give roughly 75% to football - which equates to roughly $15 mil

Basically going to get a bunch of players chasing a bag and having nothing else to drive them. That will be a massive fail and is simply being maybe the worst in ruining college sports.

If you want to be a championship caliber program like LSU fans want LSU to be, then you have to be that serious. With the right head coach that is. Because BK proved that he can shite away $20 million with his lazy coaching before the playoff rankings even come out. It’s no wonder the big LSU donors wanted BK gone.

Isnt that dependent on what the school allocates to it?

But it’s up to the school, it’s not dictated

That's the one thing BK did unknowingly......... He made all our big money, people unify and get together.

If Lane passes that up he’s retarded.
Also if sexton asks for more at the risk of having LSU walk away, he’s also retarded.
