For The Who Is Kenny Crowd

We are in a new landscape of college football where today it is a young man’s game. You need energy, innovation, and tact. Preferably an offensive mind that can develop an offense with your personnel and take over play calling when adjustments mid game are needed.
Mike Norvell identified this in Kenny and trusted him to run his offense at Memphis. It worked flawlessly. They ran one of the top offenses in the sport the two years he was OC. He was also rated as the top recruiter in the conference.
Next up he caught the eye of another offensive mind in Gus Malzahn. He trusted him to run his Auburn offense. No surprise it was the one year Bo Nix looked awesome at Auburn. More to come on that.
After that he rejoined Norvell at Florida State. Clearly trusted by Norvell.
Then Oregon makes a splash hire and pulls in Dan Lanning. Who does the defensive minded Lanning trust to put all his eggs into for offense? Kenny Dillingham. Kenny awoken Bo Nix for the second time and produced one the best offenses in the country in 2022.
So then he gets his shot at Arizona State. His home. He gets them in the playoffs year two. The media loves him. Everyone from Cowerd, ESPN, to Barstool are obsessed with him. The LSU brand perception would immediately flip to the positive.
Also, his elite QB Sam Levitt is about to hit the market if he hasn’t already as of this morning. Package deal with immediate success.
That’s my selling point for our back up option. I’m all for Kenny at LSU if Lane trolls on by.
And yes I do believe a guy this hungry would leave for the SEC stage at LSU no matter how much he says he’s home at ASU.

If we can't get Lane, I would be super pumped to land this guy
I've watchd his interviews, I like him a lot... He's a super positive energy, relationship focused guy
He doesn't know the SEC, so Lane is my first choice...Lane gives you 15 more years of experience than Kenny.
that is something one must take into account

This…this makes me say frick Lane and the circus show and let’s ride with Kenny
Lane would be great but man is this back and forth a pain in the arse.
If Kenny wants to be here…do it.

If Dilly is so great, why is Leavitt hitting the market?

He doesn't know the SEC
2017 Memphis (QB/TE)
2018 Memphis (OC/QB)
2019 Auburn (OC/QB)
2020–2021 Florida State (OC/QB)
2022 Oregon (OC/QB)
2023–present Arizona State

This is who I’m rooting for. Lane would do well here but give me this guy. No games.

He’s making 5.3 million per year at ASU. The LSU job would offer a nice raise for him while not breaking the bank for LSU

Uh, he coached Nix at Auburn, he coached at Memphis, and Florida State. He knows the SEC, dude.

He actually makes over $7 million a year.

Because he can make more money at other places, like LSU.

Doesn’t he seem a little whiney?

I’m sure he can get somebody else. Recruiter of the year.
